February 9 in Berlin will host a meeting of representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Russia, France, Germany and Ukraine.
These negotiations will precede the meeting in the "Norman" format at the highest level, which can be held on February 11 in Minsk. Earlier, Vladimir Putin, in an interview with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, said that the meeting devoted to Ukraine would take place in Minsk if the parties succeed in agreeing on a “number of positions”.
Earlier, Francois Hollande, Angela Merkel, Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Putin held telephone talks. It was during this conversation that the leaders of the four countries agreed to meet in Minsk.
