Today, Putin was offered to consider candidates for the posts of heads of Karelia, as well as the Sverdlovsk and Irkutsk regions.
In the case of the head of Karelia, the candidatures of the acting head of the republic, Alexander Khudilaynen, the first vice-premier of the region, Yury Kancher, and the speaker of the legislative assembly, Vladimir Semenov, are considered.
The chairman of the regional government, Vladimir Vlasov, interim governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev, and vice-speaker of the regional legislative assembly, Viktor Shepty, claim the post of head of the Sverdlovsk region.
As for the governor of the Irkutsk region, in this case the president has a choice between the interim head of the region, Sergei Eroshenko, the rector of the University of Baikal, Mikhail Vinokurov, and federal inspector Peter Ogorodnikov.
Recall that the heads of 20 regions resigned immediately after the Duma elections held in December 2011.
