- Seabuckthorn varieties "golden cob" has a compact crown, but it still has spines on the branches, and this complicates the harvesting of berries.
In 1954, breeders created elite varieties of this remarkable plant.
Sea-buckthorn varieties "oilseed" are tall shrubs with branched thin drooping branches, berries on a long peduncle. The berries are large, brown-red.
Seabuckthorn varieties "olive", "Altai news", "golden ears" have a high yield: it ranges from 8 to 16 kg from a tree and does not decrease with age.
